Broccoli

'Arcadia' 69 days. A very stress tolerant hybrid. Heavy, very firm, dark blue-green domed 8" heads are finely beaded. Large plants excellent for close spacing and high yields. Easy to harvest. Tolerant to Black Rot and Downy Mildew, with some frost tolerance.

'Belstar' 66 days. Widely adapted broccoli suitable for late summer and fall harvest. This hybrid has a large domed head and tight heads that are blue green in colour.

'Diplomat' 68 days. Recommended for fall and winter production. Very uniform, medium-large heads with small beads. Dark green and dense. Suitable for bunch or crown cut. Intermediate resistance to downy mildew.

Chinese cabbage

'Chinese Michihli' Has such a mild, sweet flavor compared to regular cabbage that it can be used raw in salads. The Michihle has a texture between cabbage and lettuce. The leaves are mild and sweet, and do not cause digestion problems like regular cabbage.

Cabbage, red

'Integro' (F1) 85 days. Mid-late, medium-sized heads have a uniform, high round shape. The leaves are very thick and crisp, but not tough. Long standing in the field. Short core.

'Red Acre' 100 days. Heads are deep red, globe shaped, 6 to 7 inches in diameter. A colorful addition to a garden landscape. Red Acre stores better than most early cabbage.

'Red Express' 63 days. Compact plants and solid, round, 2-4 lb. heads with good appearance and flavor. Relatively split resistant.

'Ruby Perfection' (F1) 85 days. The No. 1 mid-late red cabbage. The heads are medium-sized, dense, and a uniform high-round shape with good wrapper leaves. Good field holding ability. Matures just in time for late summer crops or fall harvest for medium-term storage. Resistance to thrips.

'Super red 80' (F1) 73 days. The round, medium-sized heads are well-wrapped, smooth and resist splitting. Flavor is superior for red cabbage: tender, crisp, and pleasantly peppery. Suitable for planting at close spacing to produce single-serving-sized mini cabbages.

Cabbage, green

'Famosa' (F1) 75 days. Famosa has deep blue-green heads weighing in at 2-4 lb. The yellow tinted interior is filled with great, tender leaves with a very good flavor.

'Tendersweet' (F1) 71 days. Midsize, flat heads stand well without splitting. Tender leaves are very thin, sweet, and crisp - perfect for coleslaw or stir-fries. Widely adapted for spring, summer, and early fall harvest. Resistant to fusarium yellows.

Kale

'Lacinato' Heirloom variety also known as 'Dinosaur Kale'. Long, dark blue-green leaves shoot from the central stem like ostrich feathers. It grows 1m (3') tall with deeply blistered, strap-like leaves that are frost hardy and tender eating.

'Redbor' The plants are tall, growing up to 2-3 ft., with greater yield and better cold hardiness than competitive varieties. Additionally, it has a much higher percentage of well-curled, red-purple, ruffly leaves, and regrows vigorously for successive harvests. Redness and curling are enhanced by cold weather

'Red Russian' Stems are purple; leaves are deep gray-green, purple-veined, flat, noncurled, and tooth-edged. The plants mature medium-tall and leaves are tender compared to other kales. For salads and light cooking.

'Starbor' Finely curled, dark blue-green leaves with no bitterness. These compact plants, 12-18", produce leaves that are a very uniform color, resist yellowing, and have good flavor. Perfect for harvesting the whole plant when teenage-size for bunching.
