Eggplants

'Calliope' (F1) 64 days. Beautiful, oval, white and purple-streaked Indian-style eggplant. Suitable for baby (2") or mature (3-4") harvest.

'Clara' (F1) 65 days. Unique, large white Italian type. High yielding plants with early maturation. Fruits are 6-7" long by 4-5" wide.

'Comprido verde claro' Tear-drop light green fruit about 1/4 of the size of a medium size eggplant.

'Dusky' An extra early hybrid variety for shorter season areas. A cylindrical shape with jet black, glossy skin. Dusky has excellent flavour and produces high yields. Maturity about 58 days from transplanting.

'Fairy Tale' (F1) 65 days. Attractive, 2-4", elongated, purple and white-striped fruits borne abundantly on compact 18-24" plants. Wonderful flavor with no bitterness and very few seeds. Some fruits may be harvested in clusters.

'Galine' (F1) 65 days. Very glossy black fruit with green calyx. Classic Italian bell shape, 6" x 3". Early, firm fruit on strong plants. Uniform and high yielding, even in the North.

'Orient Express' (F1) 58 days. Attractive, slender, 8-10", glossy black fruits in the long Oriental style. Ready up to 2 weeks before other early varieties, it features an ability to set fruit in cool weather as well as under heat stress. Tender, delicately flavored, and quick cooking. Purple calyx.

'Violetta Lunga di Napoli' Long, cylindrical fruit of an intense dark violet color. Firm flesh with very few seeds. A robust plant that is very resistant to the heat. Excellent and prolonged reduction. It is very much demand in the market due to the fact that it is easy to peel and has an excellent flavor.
